Is CBD oil addictive?

Secondly, instructing them to use the inhaler when they felt the need to smoke. Over a week-long period, treating people with CBD reduces the number of cigarettes smoked by 40%. However, those with the placebo showed no notable difference.

Side effects of CBD oil:

CBD does not produce intoxicating effects as THC does but it is important to know about the side effects of CBD.

Drug interactions:

One of the biggest drawbacks of taking CBD is that it can have adverse effects when taken with certain medications especially medicines that are considered blood thinners. Furthermore, a study was conducted back in 1993 which found that CBD blocks cytochrome P450 which is a family of enzymes. This family of enzymes is responsible to flush out 70 to 80% of drugs out of our systems. This blockage can cause a toxic buildup of different pharmaceutical compounds in our bodies.
